Event-Specific Code of Conduct — Vibecoding Hackathon

We want Vibecoding Hackathon to be welcoming, safe, and fun for everyone.

By attending, you agree to:

1) Be respectful

  • Treat participants, mentors, judges, staff, sponsors, and venue personnel with respect.
  • Assume good intent, communicate kindly, and give constructive feedback.

2) Keep it inclusive

Harassment or discrimination is not allowed, including based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.

3) Respect boundaries and consent

  • Don't film, photograph, or record someone who asks not to be recorded.
  • Respect personal space and venue rules.

4) Build fairly

  • Don't plagiarize or misrepresent work.
  • If you use third-party assets or code, follow their licenses and credit appropriately.

5) If something goes wrong, report it

We may take any action we consider appropriate, including a warning, removal from the event, and/or disqualification, to protect participants and the event experience.
